KALAAVITHI is on a journey to look after and nurture the traditional art and architecture from all rural spaces of India.
We focus at the sustainability and natural ways of creating art as well as architecture.

Believing that Art, Architecture, Literature, Music everything is connected…..to the core of the community. She is on a journey of creating and promoting art under a single roof. She has interest in art and architecture of rural and vernacular context. She founded ‘Kalaavithi’, a platform where people with different stories can create spaces of their own interest.
TUSHAR KANGARKAR
SOUND DESIGNER
A graduate in sound design from FTII Pune, he has built a career as a musician and a sound designer for film. He has a creative bent that helps our community artists realize their artistic intent in music. He take great pleasure in location recordings at various natural places we travel through.
VAMAN KANGARKAR
ARTIST
Completed his Art studies from J.J. School of art in early 80s.
He is Mentor and Co-Founder of Kalaavithi and has keen interest in paintings. He loves to use his art skills to make eco-friendly art pieces.
